The fourth annual Outdoor Yoga Flow event is once again returning to Selkirk’s Waterfront.
On Sept. 23, the waterfront will be filled with yogies sharing their passion.
According to organizer Jennifer David, the community event continues to grow each and every year.
With more and more yoga being offered and practiced in Selkirk and the surrounding area, I know that this will yet again be a wonderful coming together in the name of health, wellness and support,” David said in a prepared statement.
“Seeing the increase in interest and participation in yoga over the past 4 years in Selkirk and the surrounding area has really been thrilling to watch! More and more people are opening themselves up to a practice that can increase their entire quality of life,” David said. “This event is special because it makes the practice of yoga accessible to everyone (being only $10) and with all the proceeds going to an amazing cause, it’s a triple win for the community, the participants and the family receiving the love and support.”
David noted that 100% of the funds raised at this year’s event will be going to support her uncle Doug and aunt Sherry Wityshyn as well as their three children. Wityzhyn has been suffering from ALS for more than three yars.
“Their family has been shown an outpouring of Love, support and strength as they continue to work together to navigate their journey,” David added.
